Scene:  Tuesday night, in the car on the way to gymnastics, driving past Big V Country Mart grocery store in town.....

Kate: "My heart always starts beating really fast right here because I am so excited to get to class."

*sigh*
She has found her JOY.

Jane

We were driving in the car the other evening and Jane tells me she is thinking of breaking up with her boyfriend, Isaac. When I ask her why, she said, "because he is always chasing me and I am getting tired of running!"
We talked about how boys are weird sometimes.

Still waiting for a warm enough day to put the stone and stucco on the front. Since it is raining today, they are hoping to get started outside tomorrow. The posts on the porch got done yesterday.

The trim guy is finished for now, the painter comes today. Andy is hoping to get started on the backsplash in the kitchen today. There is sawdust everywhere. We gave our move-out notice to the landlady and will potentially be homeless(again) on January 31st. Would love to only have to move one more time, but may end up in my parent's basement for a week or two. Are you sick of seeing these kinds of posts yet?

We followed Martens tradition of celebrating six Christmas' and one birthday....whew. Can't imagine it any other way though. This was the first year that Andy and I realized this may be our last Christmas with some of our grandparents, especially our beloved Grandpa Cecil Turley. So thankful that we have so much family that wants to hang out with us and we look forward to having Christmas in our new home for 2013!
