Conversation between Jane and I yesterday evening....
Jane: "Mom where are you going"
Me: "On a date with my boyfriend!"
Jane: (gasp) "You have a boyfriend? Who's his name?"
Me: "His name is Andy"
Jane: (giggles) "Mom, that's not a boyfriend, that's my dad!"
pause pause pause
Jane: "Why do you want to date my dad?"
Me: "Because I think he's cute!"
Jane: total break down into girlie giggles....
Last night Andy and I, along with my BIL and SIL, went to see my brother's band play at a hole-in-the-wall Westport bar. We had a great time, stayed up too late, and really enjoyed the music.
Love date nights with my man, love a good babysitter(Courtney rocks!)love my BIL/SIL, love my brother.
Totally thankful for time with people I love.
